Rockingham County is asking for community input in the early stages of its comprehensive plan revision.
It is important that Rockingham County folks participate so that this plan is a true reflection of what residents want for their community over the next 20 years.
The county has scheduled a series of meetings in October and November where community members are asked to participate in interactive workgroups around four topics: community facilities & transportation; growth & development; local economy; and parks, recreation & natural resources.
Community Meetings Dates & Locations
All meetings begin at 6pm and folks are asked to attend the entire two hour session.
The county is also gathering input via a community survey that will be live through the end of November. You can take it online here, or you can pick up a hard copy of the survey at the Department of Community Development in the Rockingham County Administration Building at 20 E Gay St, Harrisonburg.
