2023 General Assembly Preview Watch Party

December 3, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

  • « El aire libre es SUYO
  • The Outdoors is Yours: Staunton/Augusta/Waynesboro Walk-Bike Summit »
The Virginia capitol building stands tall against a bright blue sky with tips of red tulips in bloom in the foreground.

Join conservation advocates in the Valley on December 3 from 9am-noon at JMU’s Ice House in Harrisonburg to learn about legislative action anticipated in the 2023 General Assembly that affects our land, water and communities in Virginia. This a great opportunity to hear from statewide environmental experts and meet other groups and individuals working here in the Valley to make our cities, towns and villages more vibrant, preserve our working farmland, and ensure clean water for future generations.

Alliance for the Shenandoah Valley is partnering with Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition to host a breakfast watch-party viewing of Virginia Conservation Network‘s (VCN) speaker lineup in Richmond. We’ll also have some time to talk about emerging local issues. (We’ll post the agenda once it’s finalized.)

Registration is free with a suggested $20 donation, and you’ll also have the option to order a hard-copy of VCN’s 2023 briefing book, Our Common Agenda.

Register to Attend the Breakfast Party

Use the promo code HBURGADVOCATE to waive the suggested donation
(only valid for the Harrisonburg
watch party).
