We’re celebrating another victory in court. On Monday August 6, federal judges threw out Dominion’s permit to tunnel through the Blue Ridge at Hazel Palmer’s historic family land in Lyndhurst.
In May, the same court canceled the federal permit to harm rare species along the route.
In response, FERC issued a stop work on the entire Atlantic Coast Pipeline route, since Dominion no longer has the needed federal permits.
Can this huge, industrial project be built safely and legally through our steep, rugged mountains and fragile karst geology? Clearly not. Permitting has been rushed to meet Dominion’s timeline, and the facts are coming to light in court. Read the article here.
