Alison earned her B.B.A. in International Business from James Madison University and for 28 years was a Business Manager for a survey research firm that focused on the human dimensions of natural resource and outdoor recreation issues. She managed grants and focus group and survey research studies for state and federal agencies, conservation NGOs, and industry. Working for the Alliance, she can continue to support meaningful work in conservation and connection with the local community and partners. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, gardening, backyard birding, cooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
