Kevin is happy to return to the beautiful Shenandoah Valley where his family has been farming for six generations. He studied Wildlife Ecology and Conservation at the University of Florida and spent a few seasons as an eco-tour guide before serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Peru. While there he collaborated with dairy farmers to organize and complete agroforestry projects and promoted environmental awareness in his community. Most recently, Kevin worked as an agricultural extension agent supporting California strawberry growers in implementing best management practices on their farms and providing workforce training.
