Caitlin grew up in Botetourt County and is happy to be back in Virginia. Freshwater quality has always been one of her passions having grown up in the Blue Ridge Mountains. She has a dual Master’s of Science in Environmental Management and Sustainability from James Madison University and the University of Malta. She started as a Fisheries Science Technician at Virginia Tech and has been in the environmental field for over 10 years. Most recently she was the Project Manager for a small nonprofit focusing on freshwater quality in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
