Amy recently graduated from Bridgewater College where she majored in Environmental Science and minored in Biology. In her senior year, she performed a research project on cyanobacterial phenotypic plasticity response under varying temperatures, which relates to her interest in water quality. This interest also relates to her new position at the Alliance for the Shenandoah Valley, where she will work as a Buffer Assessment Intern over the next few months. She has lived in the Shenandoah Valley her whole life, so she’s excited to have the opportunity to complete work that is beneficial to this area. In her free time, Amy enjoys gardening and being with her family and pets.
