Lisa is an owner of Lenhart Pettit PC, and practices law out of its office in Harrisonburg. She focuses her practice on commercial real estate and financing transactions with a special interest and expertise in conservation easements, a subject on which she has written and presented to various audiences. Lisa currently serves as legal counsel to a land trust; has participated in public-private task forces regarding the tax implications of land conservation tools for battlefield preservation, local conservation easement ordinances, and template conservation easement forms for agricultural land preservation; and has also served on the Virginia Outdoors Foundation easement template advisory committee. Lisa was a founding board member of Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Bethany College and her law degree from University of Virginia School of Law.
