Shenandoah Networks, nonprofit partners and community groups working at the intersection of community health and watershed health, is launching a series of organizational capacity-building workshops this spring beginning with a fundraising workshop on Thursday, March 27 from 1-4 PM at the Massanutten Regional Library in Harrisonburg (directions).
Shenandoah Networks Training Series: Fundraising
We’ll be working with Michaela Howard, who will lead us through the workshop and provide the skills needed to operationalize fundraising strategies specific to each participating organization. The session is designed for both board and staff members and will help organizations explore how to strengthen and/or diversify their fundraising approaches.
If you’d like to attend on behalf of your nonprofit or community organization, please reach out to Maya Alexander (malexander@shenandoahalliance.org) by Friday, March 21 with the names and contact information for the participants who will be joining.
If attending presents a financial barrier, we have grant funding that can help compensate attendees for their time and/or travel.
If you’re unfamiliar with Shenandoah Networks, watch this video to catch a glimpse of some of the work we’ve done thus far.
