The group has met several times to wrestle with the issues to consider for citing a good solar project AND balancing the interests of the county’s primary economies of agriculture and tourism.
We’ve learned since our last post that Page County Supervisors will consider three different solar ordinances at their meeting tomorrow.
We are very concerned that the carefully crafted protections in the ordinance may be removed and/or weakened.
Work has begun again along Happy Creek, following a revised erosion and sediment control plan and the posting of work plans and permits on site as required.
We hope this list can serve as a resource for those who want a better plan for Happy Creek in Front Royal.
